“ We were served by Vensa and she was just amazing. She really made us feel at home with small, but genuinely thoughtful suggestion and gestures e.g. we were sitting by the window and the sun was shining in quite bright, Vensa offered us to first move to a different table or to secondly, move the actual table a few inches out of the direct sun. Vensa was chatty and friendly, without being overbearing and too much. I could see that she was giving each table she was serving the service they required, meaning chatting with my table, but not to a table of people who appeared to be having a business lunch and in doing so would be intrusive or a nuisance to them. Our food was fantastic! The dough balls were light, fluffy and piping hot out of the oven with delicious garlic butter. These were served by the manager on duty, who made a little joke, 3 people and 3 portions of dough balls and that he didnt need to ask who ordered what needless to say we were howling and laughing. Our pizzas, BBQ burnt ends and the Meatball Italiano were superb and cooked to perfection, massive Kudos to the kitchen team on shift this day as they were top class! ”

“ Served great pizzas but ive eaten better ones. The pizza was nice and crispy, not too cheesy, just the right consistency. There was also no crust but i think you can customise it. Service was also great in general, cery friendly staff and always there to help us. The atmosphere was quite good, kinda sad we didnt see a jazz band performing though. Overall nice place and its good if you like some nice hot pizzas. ”

“ Overall one of the much better Pizza Expresses! Food was cooked fresh and to a good standard. Service was quick and very polite with a friendly smile. The only downside was the downstairs toilets werent open. This meant the entire restaurant were waitingqueuing for just 1 toilet. Not ideal but I assume this isnt standardnormal! ”

“ Pizza Express continues to deliver in an era where the British restaurant chain is facing competition from an influx of Pizza chains across the city. This was another lovely experience from beginning to end. I have stated this in previous Pizza Express reviews from other chains Ive visited, great quality control and the Margarita is a personal favourite and has set a standard for me. The desserts were extremely tasty. I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding and shared a Chocolate Cake, both were delicious. My colleague loved his Bischoff Sundae. If I had one word to define Pizza Express it would be consistent. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. Overall another brilliant experience. ”

We had 3 vegans in our party and he didnt blink when offering menu items, encouraged us to tailor pizzas and add ingredients in exchange for ones removed. Ambience was nice, just the right number of people to make it an enjoyable meal! Get the Calabrian Romana pizza... Absolutely fantastic. ”
